The Quad City Manufacturing Laboratory is a new Research and Development Center located in the Joint Manufacturing and 
Technology Center at the Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, Il.

The Quad City Manufacturing Lab will provide leadership to establish and maintain a Center of Excellence, within the Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center, in manufacturing of titanium, lightweight composites and other advanced materials, to meet current and future requirements of the Army and sister services. 

It is designed to encourage and facilitate collaboration between research, manufacturing, and educational institutions within the Illinois/Iowa Quad City region.

It will conduct pilot production parts made of titanium, lightweight composites and other advanced materials, to aid in application qualification.
